it looks like he was using the paddle shifters to me. Seemed to stick at 6k after he let off the throttle at the end.
Was that gauge showing throttle position?

Im guessing from what I know that was RPM.. The TSX is not ready for the SHO and will read very few things.. Per SCT, if Im wrong im sure Torrie will correct me.

I watched it a few more times, its not RPM as it dont match the tach.

...if you have the extra funds, I would definitely recommend getting a tuner. I have one for my 06 Fusion & it's great! Basically it swaps out your cars stock tune with an optimized version that will make the car more responsive and give it higher performance. I'm not sure if you have the I4 or V6, but either way you'll notice a significant difference. Most will tell you it's like driving a whole new car!

...you can get an SCT X3 tuner pre-loaded with tunes designed specifially for the Fusion from Steeda Autosports http://www.steedafusion.com/store/I...SCT-Xcalibrator-3---I4-&-V6/product_info.html, which typically comes with an 87octane & a 93octane performance tune. Combine that with a Steeda intake even better (Steeda has tunes optimized for the aftermarket intake).

Right now the tuners are on sale & like I said, well worth it if you have the extra dough. With an intake & a tune...my Fusion is now comparable to a gen I/II SHO performance-wise.

BTW, if you haven't been to the FordFusionForum http://fordfusionforums.com/ check it out! My name is (surprise surprise) HappyGoneMad on there.
