You know that stupid ball and pit connection of the mtx shifter that likes to come loose. Most people say they have success zip tying it. That would hold maybe 2 to 3 weeks for me. It would just get worse, and zip ties barely work now. Looks theres no solution.
I made one. Use a dremel, cut a nice sleeve in the metal and run a hose clamp through. Put back on the car, and tighten it around the cable's armpit connection and viola. Dont make to tight. Now lets see how long this holds now. I tried myself after I tightened it to take it off by hand, couldn't I even played through the gears a few times. I'll keep this updated how it works out.
