Nice Birthday present

Well thursday, I was out running errands on my birthday. I stop to get lunch, and heard a noise from under the hood. Im thinking OH GREAT, cams. Luckly, Im half mile from the house, baby it home, and put the SHO in the garage. Just started tearing down, and pulled the front cover off and got a quick look at the intake cam, and smiled. Finished removing and it was Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy. ITS GOT WELDED CAMS.:woo-hoo: Welds look good. Oh yeah sorry, this SHO is my new one. Its a black 98 with 119,000 and alot better shape than the silver one I junked. Oh yeah another question there is a FORD Authorized modification sticker on the core support. The part number is F8DF-12A650-PD. Has the computer been replaced or updated. Ive seen this sticker one other time and a silver Gen3 one year at Carlisle.

Wonder if the rears were done too. Some people like to half ass those jobs and cross their fingers the other head will be ok. But hey at least half is done, that saves some time and money!
