Ngk plugs

Will running the colder NGK plugs have much affect, on power, at lower mod levels? Or is that something better suited to the meth/upgraded turbo guys? I'm just starting with t-stat, 3 bar map, drop in K&N, muffler delete, plugs and tune. So, NGKs or Motorcraft?

I believe it's recommended to do colder plugs for tune only. I know I went colder plugs when I did a tune.

With a 3 bar tune, boost is raised.

That's what I was thinking. The colder plugs should allow a more aggressive tune

I just purchased a set of Motocraft SP-534 plugs and 3-bar off rockauto.com to go with the LMS MyCal and 170 thermostat I also just purchased. I'd ask your tuner, but the common gap for tuned cars seems to be .030.

That's so untrue. Upgrading to the sp534 is a great idea on 2010 to 2012 models.
