I've never used the ngauge but I can say once you go mpvi2, you never go back to sct. Unless they have major things planned, they got nothing for me.

if you already have the MVPI2 there's no point in getting an nGauge unless you just want a boost gauge.

Lund went solely with the E-Motion nGauge due to the ability to write their own proprietary software to work with it. They went away from both SCT and HPTuners a few years ago, but as such the Lund nGauge won't work with HPTuners.

That explains why then. Thanks!

I'm not a huge fan of sct. I had issues with the x4 on my 2011 and thought I bricked the ecu. They as always blamed the battery, so I bought a new battery and it didn't change anything. I have an x4 and a livewire at this point, any other money I put into the car will only be on stuff that makes it go faster.

Here is the question no one is asking, how many times a sec is your car updating readings from sensors? 170 a sec sounds awesome but if something like my AIT sensor updates 5 times a sec, that's pointless. I say that because our AIT and AIT2 sensors seem to update at a slow rate.

Idk, I just log n look for any issues. Mainly watch the lambda and spark. But I also watch throttle and wastegate a lot. Currently I'm trying to figure out the transmission. The 10speed has so many settings

IAT's dont' seem to change very quickly but others such as boost do, just not by much. You see the incremental changes (not that it changes anything as far as tuning) but it would make the line on the graph a little more detailed. A boost spike may not look as bad on an ngauge as it would look with a livewire.

Very jealous of your 10 speed

I wish I knew more about how it works. I disabled upshifting under closed throttle on sport mode, which made it way better in twisty roads. I also increased time between torque converter lockup on downshifting. Raised shift points.

It has a built in line lock/launch control but i don't know how it works
