Next meet info

Anyone got any more input or a Specific time for Meeting at each place? I am anxious to get a set time so i can plan around it.

Hey Folks...

I didn't want to say anything until I was sure I would be off work Saturday...which I am.

I emailed Bizzy a few weeks ago about joining Tri State SHOs, and I am interested in meeting as many people as I can. I've met Speedy_91_Sho once before, and he referred me to the forum in the first place.

I would love to attend the meet, and lets see if I have the times right. Leave Tim Hortons by 10:20am and lunch at QS&L in Cleveland at noon?

Also, someone mentioned meeting early and cruising SR 105, which is Toledo's sorry example of a "twisty" road. Is anyone still up for that?

Anyway, There is a lot I still have to learn about these cars. So forgive me in advance if my 94 MTX isn't in tip top condition .

well sadly, i will miss another meet. i've been forced to work saturday, i nearly got fired over it, lol but i decided i need a job more then to go to a meet. not that anyone would miss me, but i can't come. :cry:

The weather looks like it's going to be ok. From what I can see the general tri-state area is supposed to get some flurries Friday night and every now and then on Saturday but it's supposed to be mostly sunny and about 40°. So I think we're going to be ok in that department.

Perry, if it's ok with you Mark and I would like to meet up over at your house Saturday morning and then depart to the Tim Hortons. I think that if we arrive at QS & L by noon we'll be in pretty good shape. If it takes an 1.5 hours to get there then we should set the departing time from Tim Hortons at about 10:30. Anybody have opinions regarding that? If so please speak up.

The route I think would be best across the turnpike since Route 2 is 2 lanes and from what Mark told me tonight, there's a lot of truck traffic along that route so we'd be stop and go and that would be no fun. From the turnpike it's an easy drive over to the exit for route 2 past Sandusky.

Thoughts?

Jeff, if you want to meet up with me somewhere along the way down to Toledo let me know. That goes for anyone over here on the east side that's planning on making the trip down.

Sounds reasonable to me. The turnpike has a RT 2 exit, from there it's only a couple of miles to Q S & L. It's the exit before RT 57, for Lorain and Elyria, where I 90 separates from the toll road.

Hey all im new to this forum, ive been here about a week, talk about newb! lol.... well i really want to join this Tri-State Shos. im 18, senior in high school and live in Kentwood Michigan, right by Grand Rapids....I currently own 2 shos black 89 with leather interior, 137,000 miles on her and i just bought a 95' silver MTX with tan leather interior, 117,000 on her and shes beautiful it has no rust at all not even underbody of it. i bought it from illinois from a nice couple for $1,600, i just got the clutch redone and i got no more than 5 miles from the shop and it died, so its in the shop again right now getting fixed for free since it died so quick after getting it "fixed" lol....well i want to go to this meet really badly, if my sho was done id drive it, the 89 is my dads daily driver now since i got my car, so if theres any way that someone near me can give me a ride to this convention ill pay 1/2 to 3/4 of the total gas there and back. i really want to go to this sooooo bad so if anyone can give me a ride it'd be greatly appreciated and you'd be helping a young SHO enthusiast like me so if anyone can help please call my cell phone 616-893-1172 thanks alot guys and hopefully i can make it to this - rob

Well it looks as though my 3:30 work obligations will keep me from getting to go to Cinncinati with Ryan to get parts so I think I will meet up at Perry's in the morning and go to Tim Horton's and possibly even continue to the meet for a little bit just to say hi. You won't be able to miss me... I never thought I would be going to a SHO meet without a SHO but you'll see me in the rental Stratus SXT... by far one of the :***:-est cars I've ever driven. Beth and Perry (and anyone else meeting there), if either of you are interested in seeing "White Lighting's" destruction it's on the way to 75 sitting at my parent's house (very close to Perry's). that way you can tell me what you think after you see it in person.
