So I got my Gearhead intercooler all installed and was able to drive a little bit after loading the tune. All I can say is "Holy Sh*t!" Definitely should have gotten a tune sooner, I've been babying it so far and it's definitely faster at half throttle now than WOT on my stock tune. Was hoping to get some dragy times this past weekend but my OAR gauge informed me that I filled up with some bad or mislabeled gas, so waiting until I find a station with actual 93 octane.
The bug has bitten hard now that I got a taste of what these cars are capable of and I'm already thinking about pushing it further. I currently have the Gearhead intercooler and tune, Corsa exhaust, H&R springs, AD torque mount, EPP dual intake/noisemaker delete, and MSD coils. What would you guys recommend next between ppe catted downpipes or the xdi-35 hpfp? I swore up and down I'd never do E30, but if all the gas around here ends up being crap and I'm mixing in a little E85 just to get to 93, mixing for E30 isn't much more of a stretch, in my mind at least
