Hello SHO Owners
My name is Greg I reside in the City of Orange, Orange County California. I have owned a 90Taurus SHO and a 92 SHO I traded up to, and started on Mods with a Ford street strip clutch/flywheel package that was great, the 92 was destroyed when T-Boned by a Drunk Driver.
Now I have a 98 Gen 3 which I found in the Bay area it had 51 thousand miles on it, White over gray and beautifully original and authentic, all service was done by Goweke Ford the same dealer who sold it new, I consider my self lucky to have found it.
I have a great deal of experience with the gen 3 Taurus Vulcan (U motor) drive train, my family has had about every Taurus from their first introduction and some of the T.S.B.s and issues like transmission, fuel gauge, lights etc, Im very familiar with and hope my experience may be of assistance if called upon. Well that's about it thank you for allowing this introduction, my 98 has a code problem that I am going to attempt starting a post or a thread concerning it.
Thanks for your time
Greg

Welcome to the community, Greg! Great to have a "new" Gen 3 owner join us, it has been a while since the last one :) We look forward to seeing you on here.

How about some pics of the SHO to start off with?

Welcome to the forum. If I were to ever get a Gen3 again it would be a White/Gray 98. There are little things on the 98s that the 96, and 97s didn't get and then some stuff was left off the 99s all together.

If it hasn't already been done or if you have no idea whether it's been done, you need to look into getting the Cams welded. Look it up here on the forum if you need info on it.
