Hello all I'm new to the SHO Family but not when it comes to the issues associated with them. I have a 96 SHO I purchased last year with a possible 99 Engine & Trans installed(it got crushed by a horse with 107,000 miles). Three days after purchase I had a failure( cams or shime never checked). Is there any way I can visually tell the difference between years even though the owner told me the electrical changes have been made? I've found an replacement engine (99) with 43,000 documented miles for 1500.00 and plan on installing it A.S.A.P.!! Thanks in advance and hope to be rolling soon.
