Hello everyone, just recently signed up...

I just recently got my 2011 SHO and absolutely love the car!!! I have been doing alot of reading on the forums and recently read that the AWD system is majority set to the front of the wheels hence it being economic based so that through out the idea of pursuing a staggered wheel set up (just for looks).. something among the lines of 60% front to 40% rear at max throttle.
Anyway, I have the factory 19 inch wheels and wanted to find and upgrade to the OEM 20's from the 2013 models. My question is concerning the tire width. The 19's have 255s and the 20's are rated at 245. The tire aspect ratio are both rated at 45. I would think that a factory tire that is 255/45/R19 should be able to keep the 255 rating the max width.
Is it possible to set up a 255/40/R20 tire without rubbing?
I would love it if i would go wider but it looks like 255 is probably the safest it can go. I would love to hear everyone's feedback regarding this thought.
I like the fact of having wider wheels and tires set up for an AWD system but don't want to go overboard with it.
Thanks for your input,
-Andy
