Just picked up a 1992 sho last night. I bought it sight unseen, and drove it home. It has a small miss under light acceleration. I came out of the toll booth and ran it thru the gears...wow...75mph in third and still climbing..didnt miss under hard acceleration .how do you get to the rear plugs? Should I run some gas cleaner thru it? I also need a rear bumper cover....Thanks in advance....Allan

Welcome to shoforum!

The plugs are reachable w/o removing the intake manifold, but most people remove the manifold to make it easier. Also, a common problem is oil in the plug wells, and that requires the intake and valve covers to be removed to replace the plug chamber seals.

Some injector cleaner or acetone wouldn't be a bad idea - I typically do that every 50k miles for 3 tanks in a row.

If you look in the 'parts' section of the classifieds, you will find that I and others have rear bumper covers for sale.

Best wishes on your new baby!
