Hi everybody,

While searching for a pair of aftermarket wheels / rims for my 1998 Taurus SHO and coming up empty. I found a random CL ad offering redrilling services. After calculating my budget and the array of available 5x114 donor wheels in my price range. Made way more sense than buying new Japanese forged wheels for 2500+.

I scoured eBay/Craigslist and lucky enough to secure a pair of mint VOLK racing GT-AV forged wheels for high 3 figures with tires! Now redrilled and mounted. My pride of ownership grows.

Nice touch. Perhaps also has a slight air dam effect at higher speeds. It gets hot where you are so this would couple well with Gen2 tranny cooler. I had considered cutting out a custom valence to attach to the stock one but the geometric challenge seem a bit "involved". High 3-figure cost for the wheels? YOWZA. Look nice though.
Where'd ya get the 3.4 Cosworth badges?

Believe old owner might have group ordered custom badges years ago. I purchased cosworth decal off ebay and still have two if you like them. LOL
