Hello there!
I just purchased a 2015 Interceptor 3.5l Ecoboost from Chicago Motors Inc. They have been selling gov't vehicle for over 30 years and were great! I drove the car home to Kernersville NC in that huge snow storm and it performed flawlessly. I went up there to buy an Explorer Interceptor to go along with our 2016 Sport and I had completely forgotten about the Taurus they made. I got thinking do we need another Explorer? Not really and the price difference and performance difference sealed the deal. I wanted the police version because I've always liked and had sleepers. I don't need all the bells and whistles and I bought it as my weekend toy since I travel for work during the week. The car has 82K and 2900 idle hours with 5900 total hours. It has a few options like the usb and line in and keyless entry. The performance is incredible and drives so tight. I am a 6'3 275lb guy and I always liked the Taurus but the turn off to me was the super wide center console because my leg would be right up against it. My car has a center console but it being 9 inches wide and the seat backs flatter makes all the difference in space perception. I'm not cramped. I'm a Field Engineer that works on semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Anyway i've been poking around and doing some reading and this seems like an excellent site and am happy to have found it.
Be safe all, and Happy New Year!
