Welcome to the community, and congrats on your '10 SHO! Drive the SHO like you would want to drive it, make sure it is performing like you expect it to. Once you feel there are no kinks in the system, time to move on up to a tune. No hesitation, sluggishness, pops/clicks/rattles, etc.
Do you have an Android device? Tablet or smartphone? If you like to watch "the numbers", you can get a program called Torque (Pro version $5) plus an OBD info device (Bluetooth ELM.327) and do that. Tuners will use their own devices for actual data gathering for tuning purposes, but Torque + the OBD adapter will let you have decent insight for cheap.
