Are Kumho H rated tires decent for slicers for daily driving, I can get a good price on them, I can also get the Fuzion tire cheap, which should I go with?
I have 10 minutes to decide.

been 6 years a mechanic , ive seen horror stories with them too often.

AND the ride is harsh.

Its the best brand for truck tires (i worked in a recap shop) (18 wheeler) but for cars , its not worth the 2X the $ for what you get.

But hey buy whatever you want.

I got those too, the sidewall on them feels like jello. emergency menouevers are just scary. traction is good, tho. Cornering is pretty good, too. 25mph ramps at 50 - no big deal. They break well and let you know when they do.

Michelin makes quite a wide variety of tires; they make quiet luxury tires that are useless in corners, and they also make some of the best high performance tires for many applications; recall they are the tire supplier to Formula 1, the most demanding performance cars on the planet. Please don't make remarks about a brand name, rather if you have a reference to a specific model of tire that had problems, reference that. For example, I used Dunlop SP5000's, VR rated, and they are by far the worst tire I have ever owned, but that does not mean I will not buy another type of Dunlop tire in the future. My 2 cents is go with high end tires as it is well worth it in my own experience; I like Pirelli's P Zero Nero; they are outstanding in the corners, very smooth and quiet and they barely show any wear after hard runs. I replaced the Dunlops with these and so far the best handlng improvement mod I have done. If you go with something low cost like Fuzions or AVS 100's, you'll end up with an OK tire that is pretty good when new, but much noisier and rougher and with a comparitively weak sidewall and tread that wears out quickly in comparison to a true high end tire; you get what you pay for in other words, and it's not that much more to experience so much better ride and handling.
