Ok, since I fear my suspension might be on it's way out soon, I'm in need of some advice. Since I can't say I've ever really seen a topic that has a bunch of different suspension combinations, prices, etc., I think this could work well.

So here's my question -

I'm looking for springs and struts, best bang for the buck. I hear some say KYB struts can't go w/eibach/intrax springs...I hear they cay. What's the general concensus here, and where can I look for the best prices, etc?

thanks!

well, I just installed gr2 struts into a 96GL this past weekend with Roush springs, absolutely no problem. RI-SHO has GR2 struts with his SS springs. SHOmuchFUN has GR2s with eibachs in his 95 ATX and it rides and handles great. So if you're looking cheap, I'd say gr2 and either eibachs or intrax. Make sure you do a full inspection around the car also, and replace every bushing that needs to be replaced. Strut and spring upgrades are nothing, if you have other sources of play.

I personally like the quality of the Tokicos, as well as the lifetime warranty. I don't feel you can go wrong with them. I would at least do some research from the standpoint of asking the KYB guys if their shocks are meant to damp high-rate springs.

The Tokicos are a bit of a more proven application for high rate springs, almost as much as the Konis are. And you do get what you pay for.
