Ok, I got a used starter that had been tested and worked. I installed it and went to fire my car up and nothing happened, but there was a very quit ticking noise coming some where from the driver side in the engine compartment. I have checked every fuse on the car and every thing I can think of. Has any one else experianced this? Could some one clue me in on something, anything.
thanks,
Justin

You have a 94 so the starter solenoid is mounted on the starter itself, not like the earlier models where the solenoid is mounted on the inside fender. Make sure the battery is fully charged.

How did you know the old starter was bad to start with?

Check the integrity of your battery cables, the battery terminals, ground leads, and the lugs at the starter. Make sure they are all clean, with bare metal-to-metal contact, properly torqued. You could also try charging the battery overnight just to make sure.
