Hello I am new to the site as of yesterday. I am in the process of closing a deal on a 2013 SHO with the PP of course on it. I am going to replace my 2010 Taurus Limited I drive now daily for work. My question is I do a lot of driving about 75,000 miles a year roughly. Anyone have any experience on the SHO for higher miles being on in them or knows issues to look out for when they get up on miles? I am a fanatic about my cars as anyone would see on my current Taurus now with the miles it has etc.

My current 2010 Limited has 153,000 on it now and looks and runs mint nit one issues always perfect maintenance done to it at all times. I just have to convince myself that a black car will be ok for me as I am very picky about scuffs and scrapes and all my cars always being white. But feel I need to change at least the color thus time to feel like a new car also.

I may also looking to off load my limited if that happens I will post it up here also in case anyone is looking for a great car and good price.

Thank you and I look forward to talking more with all of you in future.

Welcome! Good luck on your purchase. Can't tell you much about mileage. I only have 8500 on mine.

i bought a 2010 with 58000km needed new plugs, rear park sunshade, rear park system, ac blend door and the led's died out in my door(not all at once). The taillights are a problem even when replaced with new it would seem. I got the ford ESP for 3 years and everything was covered except the plugs and the taillights which is considered cosmetic wear and tear. The warranty has paid for itself in under a year.

id recommend changing the plugs right away to the new recommended ones if buying pre 2013. I also had a problem with the power steering that was intermittent but i found a tsb and it was fixed(non warranty).

Id like to say its been a good experience but its been in the shop in total for about a month since i bought it under a year ago. I hope this is the end of my problems. Highly recommend the warranty! lol

Love the car though couldn't drive anything else without it being to expensive(Merc, M3) Maybe the 300c AWD but i love the ecoboost.

mine has 82K now. I got all the original service records Ford could provide from their computer. It had outer wheel bearings at 40K and it went in Friday for a new wheel inner CV (but it was not too bad - just trying to make use of the extended warranty) I drive about 20K/year mostly hwy.
