I will more than likely be doing my own work. Full time mechanic myself. I am actually taking it off the road for the rest of this week. 120k on the clock and the cams are not welded. Do not want to risk driving it anymore until i weld them.

As stated above, we are currently trying to set up a late-summer/fall meet so keep tuned for further info. And let me add a hearty welcome from all of us with the Tidewater SHO Club. We also have a Club site in the Social Group Discussions area of this forum. Check it out.:salute:

Welcome to the forum and to the club, I'm Jamie. I was just down in Fayetteville in my '93 about 3 weeks ago picking up some gen 2 wheels with tires on'm, I found a great deal through a guy on craigslist. Sam, shospazz92 is down in Fayetteville, perhaps you've seen him zooming around in a gutted and track prepped '92; it's an awesome car. Anyway, glad to hear you like your gen 3 (are the cams welded yet?) and again, welcome!

I just noticed my info says I'm still in Greenville, I need to update that.

Ok, Everyone wish me luck. I have never worked on one of these SHO's. I didnt do to bad. 50 minutes to tear it all down and remove the valve covers.

So on that note, Wish me luck as i fire up the ol' torch and lay down some serious ownage to these wimpy cam's!!!!

Oh yea I know where that is, I drove right by that plant coming into and out of town when I was down there. Good luck with the weld. You should take some pictures as you go, before and after shots are always welcomed :thumb:

I need a donor car also. Need one with a Tan interior. I do not like the Graphite interior on mine. And once again the previous owner jacked the inside all up.
