Took delivery Friday of a new 2018 Burgundy Velvet Metallic Tinted Clearcoat SHO...drivers assist - max optioned. I have to say the color is stunning. My 2015 SHO was Ingot Silver and imo the best looking silver on the automobile market. But the rainbow metal flake in this Burgundy color in the sun is amazing. It was a dealer trade from MN to WI and was driven from MN to WI as a result it had 311 miles on it at delivey so I am still burning off the crappy 87 octane dealership fuel. Have about 590 miles on her...so 410 miles to go to get through the break in process....trying to exercise patience but have been getting in to the throttle a little more aggressively now that she is over the 500 mile mark. Will be filling her up with Mobil 93 oct fuel tonight....there is only one gas station within 20 miles of me that has 93 octane fuel and I know they turn their fuel over regularly because I almost always have to wait in line for the 93 octane pump to be open so I know it is not stale fuel and I get to see lots of nice performance vehicles filling up!

Only have one so far..attached...waiting for my son to take some pictures of her because I suck at taking pictures...the wheels are the optional low gloss wheels...i prefer these to the SHO specific wheels..just a personal taste thing...the SHO wheels are nice but mine add to the sleeper look imo.

The metal flake in the tinted clearcoat is rainbow colors so when it is in the sunlight it is absolutely...I think stunning is most appropriate.

I've seen both of these colors (BV & BJ) up close and personal at my last/latest tour of the CAP.

Both are equally impressive.

The only other 2 colors I would consider if shopping for a 2018 MY.

When I did a build & price a few months ago the only blue Ford offered on a 2018 SHO was Blue Metallic - which looked like a lighter blue than the Blue Jeans blue...otherwise I would probably have blue jeans cuz i dig that color and I dont see any of that color around here...well dont really see many SHOs around here....the White Platinum was on my list too.

I love the Platinum white. I think the Burgundy wine as well as jean blue are also great colors!

My problem is that I can't seem to find a SHO with the swede seats AND Performance Package.

Shohobo...looks great! I don't think. I"ve ever seen a SHO in the velvet...only on Fusions. I also like your wheel choice.

As others have said, the Blue Jeans is darker-different from the new Metallic Blue. I really like the new blue, has lots of flake and the car gets lots of compliments. Had I ordered in '17, it would have been Blue Jeans. (I have to laugh, my Excursion is True Blue, the previous Taurus was Blue Jeans....now the '18s are Blue Metallic. What a creative name!)
