That one you linked to is not listed as a replacement for the EcoBoost V6 by application. And there is another thread here where someone inquired with Dorman regarding if their "upgraded" unit is compatible with the EcoBoost. Their reply explained why the NA PTU is different from the turbo PTU.

I wouldn't touch a non-Ford PTU ar any cost. Just get yourself the latest iteration. Search for a 2019 nonPP PTU....it'll have all the latest Ford improvements and will bolt right up.

Idk how cheap you need it to be but i have contacts within most of these companies and ordered a new ford ptu for very cheap and installed it myself a few weeks ago. I can reach out but i dont know of a timeline or your current situation. Maybe just get a rental or use another vehicle if your sho can sit for a bit. I could help you install it but Florida is pretty far from me to be there in person

Ive already done an engine swap and lots of other things to the car as i have access to a 2 post lift, but as of now im a new father and dont have lots to drop on this. Under 1k would be ideal. I made another post on this forum about my ptu as my car still runs and drives but i have no rear wheel drive whatsoever (im thinking the rear differential getting no input from the rear driveshaft is disabling my traction control)
My main goal is to fix the traction control to make the car safer as its currently very easy to lose traction especially on wet roads. Tires are next on the list
If you could point me in the direction to get a ptu for cheaper like in that picture than i would greatly appreciate it. Thank you either way

You can use it. Just dont have anything to plug it into and dont need to use the cooler line. But one day you can if you buy the lower radiator hose for a pp and the metal lines and bracket and what not
