I like how it looks, just did not want it to be too dark and grab unwanted attention. I am curious to see if it changes at all once it is fully cured. A few more days and we will find out!

By the way I love the color of your SHO!

For the DRL Drivers side.....Again your discretion and I can only recommend but strong recommendation to remove Drivers side wheel and the inner fender splash shield only takes a few minutes longer and I think the time will pay for itself when routing the wires up along the inner fender. Also resign your fate and remove the Air Filter for drivers side and Turbo charger charge tube for passengers side. A few little other quirks that I had help with....send me PM with email address if you need photos. If you haven't learned yet google how to use T-Tap Connectors in the mean time while awaiting the DRL kit to arrive

HUH? In english 2011? What are you removing that stuff for?

DRL kit installed, 3 Bar MAP sensor installed, 160 degree thermostat installed and livernois tune installed.

Thermostat was most difficult part and messy. I tried to catch as much coolant with small tupperware and a bottle, but a lot ended up on the floor. 3 Bar MAP sensor was very easy, but it only had one bolt securing the sensor. There was not even a second hole drilled in for another bolt. Anyone else have only one bolt for the MAP sensor?

DRL kit looks great and went without the dimming wire. Passenger side was most difficult, hard to do the wiring. Driver's side was much easier with the air intake removed.

I installed the 91 V8 tune for now and just wow! I only use 93 octane but just playing it safe with winter gas for now. Waiting for the car to cool down to double check the coolant level and looking forward to getting back on the road. Car shifts rough right now but they said that was expected and it will adapt.

Ford went with the one bolt MAP a few years ago, no worries.

Great upgrades, enjoy!

Regarding 2011TAURUSSEL and the Eagle F1's he inherited, I am the "buddy" in the northwest, specifically Portland Oregon.

I have no regrets on selecting the Continental DWS06. As TAUR indicated, the car never left the dealership. As soon as the deal was done, we bargained separately on the Eagle F1's coming off. I understand with the PP it's the only way the dealers can get them, but really, summer tires as mandatory standard in this climate?

Otherwise, a great upgrade from the 13 SEL 2.0 ecoboost. The only complaint so far was the windshield washer reservoir that was draining out on it's own. Tech found a split in the hose from the washer pump to the windshield, near the bottom of the tank. Assembly glitch is the likely culprit.

Enjoy all you SHO heads!!
