Nope. No intentions of selling mine.

Besides, mine is THE FASTEST..... not the 3rd.

Well, at least for the time being.

Have held the power record since 2014, and speed record since 2015.

But records do get broken. So who knows what the future will bring for the platform.

No need to correct it Yamaha. This thread is in the GEN4 section, and doesn't pertain to the older GEN's.

Fastest ECOBOOST tyvm.

And besides, if I gutted my SHO and made it a dedicated track car, then I'd give a good run at that overall SHO title.

But I have zero interest in doing that.

So given mine is still street legal, made the record on all seasons, has all the creature comforts of massaging seats, a/c, etc. and the full, portly weight of the GEN4 platform....

I'll continue to hang onto that FASTEST title while I can.

So politely, KMA. And I'm pretty confident you don't need to speak on others behalves.

Ehhh... If you say SHO and don't clarify, you're saying it's the fastest SHO, and it's not. So, if you don't denote Gen 4 or Ecoboost, you're not the fastest, period. When Zach says he's the fastest SHO, he doesn't have to put a caveat in there. And this is the SHO Forum, like it has been for nearly coming up on 2 decades.

I dare you to do that, the new motor will not allow that competition, but by all means. Not sure about the talk about speaking on others behalf... You do realize this is my project to work on as well, right? So... I've tuned the FASTEST SHO. ;p

I wasn’t trying to diss the previous gen. No gen 4 will touch the fastest sho record and I’m fine with that. But before the end of the summer I plan on being the fastest ecoboost sho. I am in a position where with some money put into the right places I could blow the record out. I plan on Running it WITHOUT seat heaters and rear seats. Lots of weight reduction and slicks. Only because I think the ecoboost sho can hit 10’s if it’s on a nice lean diet

I've always been congratulatory of Zach and all the work he's put into it. Big kudos to him.

But they are, by their very nature, two completely different animals in their own right.

I look forward (like many others) to Zach's upcoming record breakers. Exciting stuff.

I plan on Running it WITHOUT seat heaters and rear seats. Lots of weight reduction and slicks.

The problem with slicks on this platform is you cannot do a burnout to heat them up. I think you may have better luck with drag radials or an r compound street tire designed to be stickier without the burnout.
