Most impressive. Holy **** 8's. WOW.

May the wind be at his tail!

Most I can hope for in my current setup, at the highest file to date (which I have yet to run, due to drivetrain concerns) was/is calculated to be a 10.7 or 10.8 pass.

But I'm enjoying driving her to much, to grenade the trans just yet.

But someday I'll cross that bridge. Certainly don't ever, ever expect getting in the 9's with mine. Goodness no.

But as you inferred in that thread on the "stock long block record" weight does make a difference.

Would be interesting as **** to see someone completely gut a GEN4 or GEN5 (like Zach's done to his) and see what the possibilities are.

Good luck in the efforts if/when you fly out, and dial in Zach's car. Please keep the forums posted (some of us don't do FB, etc.)

There was no drag event at this convention and the car isn't tuned to run down the track yet. I am hoping to fly out within the next few weeks, probably after my dyno tuning day in Omaha in August.

Omaha huh? You're going to be in my home turf now. Who is doing the dyno? SDR Performance? When is this happening - wouldn't mind meeting you.

I lived there for 8 years before moving back to Colorado a couple years ago. Wife was born and raised in Nebraska. Shooting for the 10th of Aug at this point.

The picture of me/my car in my signature is at MAM/RPM, which I spent a lot of time at being 10 minutes away.

I still have a Nebraska plate on my STi and S2000... Although well expired. :)

Nice! May I ask who is doing the dyno on Aug 10?

It will be at SDR. Vlad mentioned now having a lot of spectators, which I think has to do with the neighboring businesses.

Don't know if you've been to his shop but it's on the very NW edge of city - about 10 blocks from my house and right across from the shop is farm fields so no businesses. I was at his shop last month and rode in his 1,200 WHP Hellcat - OH MY GOD !!!! :burnout:
I'll mark my calendar and might see you.

I have not been to his shop... I think he got the AWD after I moved. Either way, he said to keep the spectators to a minimum.

Confirmed enough people for the dyno day... Maybe more than we need, so I'll see how many I can squeeze on . It looks like I have MAM/RPM afterwards for roll racing. If you want to come do that, you're more than welcome. $40 for drivers, $10 for spectators. If you haven't been to a roll race there, it's laid back and a lot of fun. This is one of my customers/friends that used to do them regularly before joining the AF.

I'm good friends with Vlad - known him since his Audi S6 Stage 3 setup, his Merc AMG C63 that did not like mods, etc. Been to lots of roll racing but never entered my SHO yet - can't get my schedule to cooperate!
