New oil filter info

Why change the filter? Stick with whats recommended for your vehicle. Last thing you need is an additional dealer headache that you used the wrong filter.

better filtration, longer lasting filter, slightly larger capacity of oil, and if it's endorsed by Ford, (which they have for the F150) then why not.

In this case, bigger is better.

I thought that 2055 filter was a joke at first. That thing is huge. I guess they increased the filter size proportionately with the car

Not sure. Parts pulled them from the shelf and Ford said to use the Fl500

Maybe they are sooo far out of stock that they need to send them all back to the factory to make trucks LOL j/k
