how do everyone. I’m Jimmy and I’m 41 yrs old. I grew up being fan of muscle cars (real muscle cars unlike today. Muscle cars died after 1973-74). In 2003, I purchased my 1993 SHO (deep jewel green) at a Ford dealership for $1,500. An elderly couple just traded it in. It was well taken care of (112,000 on the odometer). Yes it was a 5-spd manual. I was instantly in love. The ultimate sleeper while still getting good mpg on the highway. It was bone stock and I’m proud to say that I’ve only lost 2 drag races in the time that I owned it (atwin-turbo 3000GT & 02 Trans-Am WS-6). The 3000 only started pullin’ on me after I hit 3rd gear. Anyway sorry for the rambling, it’s just exciting to be among other SHO enthusiasts. And lastly (not sorry if this offends some of you), the Taurus SHO died at the end of the 1990’s. That poor excuse that Ford pulled off the assembly line in 2010 will NEVER be an SHO in my eyes.

I've owned these things since those 90's and a manual version has always been my favorite. However, I will say Ford actually listened to what owners would like in a new version of the sho to include turbocharging. Is it a super high output vs regular version of car? I would say yes. Too much tech and stuff to break for my liking but it was a good attempt.
