Hi there, I purchased an SHO 14 with PP a few months ago, great car but it has this faint rattle-shudder noise around 2500 RPM only on occasion, seems like its in the dash or further forward on the drivers side,The Ford dealer wont even try to find it even thought the service manager took a ride with me and I got it to do it for him but, I left the car for a few days and they couldnt reproduce the sound. I can get it to do it only sometimes. any Ideas?

Car looks great! Welcome. I would take a look underneath. Might have a heat shield on a downpipe bent or mangled. Hard to really say for certain without hearing it.

For some people, that rattle noise ended up being either their visor or the seat-belt. Do you notice anything out of the ordinary besides the rattling? Lack of power, shudder, etc?

Its seems to be coming from deep under the dash or maybe even farther forward, very hard to pinpoint, nothing else out of the ordinary it runs good and no other issues just annoying. I initially thought a shroud vibrating or a cat issue but maybe a relay or something like that, it is so inconsistent. On another note, lol, funny Ive had this car 5 months and dont drive it a whole bunch, I thought in S mode I had to use the paddle shifters. Now that I realize I dont have to, thanks to this Forum I drive in Sport mode without using the paddle shifters wow so much more responsive! I wonder does it have a different ignition mapping? Just curious what the S mode differences are....much more fun to drive now. lol
