Hello folks I'm new to the group. I have a 90 sho 5 speed. I bought it crazy cheap not running with 4 busted coil springs. I've got it running and coils replaced and it is getting stripped out to be turned into a dirt track car. (Some of.you may cringe at that) I posted a few parts in the classified section if you are interested.

Here is a current pic of the car.

It will be getting a cage, and some other tube work and will be running 100 lap Enduro races and what we call auto cross (its more like motocross, as it has jumps)

Welcome - look through the archives, people have turned these into circle track cars, Lemons, Chumpcar etc. Haven't seen a rally one yet though. You could probably raise the car a bit swapping in higher load rate springs from the 96-99 cars, or maybe run Windstar front springs in the rear.

You will need a Quiafe or Wavetrac differential for sure -

I have two 99 sables aswell so I have coils I could use, but the car had for new coils with it so I put them in for now.

I have a wagon I am currently using as the rally/autox car so until it dies this will stay on a simple oval for now.


Just for an idea of what it is I do This is an older video time when I was racing a Mazda 323, please ignore my mother's commentary she likes to get a little rowdy. My car is the one that does the 360° spin just as I throw the green flag

I am in the white ****** oro car, my dad drove the car for like 10 years and tell it rusted away so I ran One race with it and pretty much killed it before sending it to scrap so I don't do very good
