Thank you for the info...im not sure on the fluid changes other than oil as ive only owned the car for a year now but it did just hit 50,000. I did change and gap the plugs when I got the v8 tune. I plan on having Ford change all the fluids on the next oil change. This car is not my daily driver and stays in the garage so I will get out and drive it more. I plan on pulling the 3rd catt and installing the Tru-x in its place and then im going to try it at the track again

Will be interesting to see if your dealer will change the PTU fluid. Ford claims not serviceable and so many dealers will not do it. Does Koons of Sterling offer PTU servicing, Mark?

No, Koons refuses due to warranty liability issues with Ford.
I found a local BG shop that did my PTU. At around 55k, it was like tar and lumpy.

O k so I found a Ford Dealer in the area that will do the PTU service but got a quote of $400...does that sound right? seems awfully expensive?

That's not a reasonable quote. I suggest seeing if there's some way you can figure out where the local PD's are servicing their Interceptors or tackling the job yourself. It doesn't take near enough labor hours to justify a $400 charge.

Or a Lincoln dealer. Talking directly to the tech who services drivelines with the procedure in hand can help also.

My ford dealer did a drain and fill in my PTU for $80... They said it's a half hour at best.
