New guy with a broker down 2010 SHO

Im from Tennessee and recently purchased a 2010 Ford Taurus SHO .Drove it the first 6000 miles without issues, I love it and it's so comfortable. Had a bad experience with a dealership changing a turbo for me that resulted in the failure of the catalytic converter as well. 2000 miles later I have a 2010 SHO shell without a functioning engine/turbos. I would like to understand how it failed and if it was my dealership repair or something I could have prevented
