I have ordered these for my SHO. 225/55/16's. Look like a decent tire and you can't beat the price!

I would like to know what kind of warranty they come with... Tirerack.com shows no warranty of any kind. Tread design looks nice for a summer tire...

They're Bridgestone / Firestones, man. :)

320 treadwear is going to be good for wear, but might be a harder tire.

(look like Bridgestone Potenza RE750's, which have a 340 treadwear actually)

At first glance I though they resembled the Bridgestone RE730 in the shoulder blocks and with UNI-T technology, they must be made by Bridgestone. Since the RE750 (replacement for the RE730) is $120 per tire in that size, I would think there have been some significant cost cutting involved. I'm curious to hear where the performance has been compromised. I suspect that these tires are designed to compete directly with the equivalently low priced Yokohama ES100 amnd Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712. I have heard several SHO owners regret the fitting of the Kuhmos after a few slippery laps around a road race course.

I dunno about that size, but for 235/45/17 the Fusions are $96 each, while the Yokos are $116, the BFG KDWS $117, and Pirelli P Zero Nero M+S $127, and ContiExtreme $118.

I'm not sure if I want the Pirelli PZero Neros or KDWS. The Pirellis are stickier, but they're new tires and I'm not too sure if they'll wear well.

I believe they will be under the Dayton line. I was told they will be a very good tire, especially for the price! But with them being so new who knows how they will be shrug

Guess I will be a guinnea pig. I will report back once I get them.

They will be compared to the RE730's I had on my Mystique.

Got to see these tires in person. They look great! I will have them installed within 1 month.

BTW Tire rack has updated their site with the info on the tire including all the specs.

I just got & installed my Toyo Proxes T1-S tires at 235/45-17 last night.

I've had Proxes FZ4's before and I thought they STUNK. Now, as much as I like the T1-S (out of the box anyway, will follow up with more info further into tire life), THIS is a TIRE:

AutobahnSHO1130:
Me likey wheel and tire. burnout
Isn't that tire meant to stop the burnout ? I bet its rather pricey especially with BBS rims *anyone need a liver?*

What about the conntinetal Contact Extreme's they seem to have super high ratings and reviews are greta, and the price is awsome.

How much are they? my 730's are gettin thin. I paid a lot for 730'S but can't say I'm not satified with them. The RE730 is a great tire!!! My tire needs have changed, again. I would buy the 730's in a heartbeat if they were avialible. I have dayton z's on the other car however they are not as satisfiying. I need a good wet tire. One that is good dry. I could care less about snow.

I just put some RE730's on my car and they are awesome. Got a great deal on them. I know a guy that runs a Firestone shop in Edina, MN he gave them to me for real cheap since they're discontinued. Another real good tire from Bridgestone is the RE950. If you get the V-rated they are just as good as thr 730's. Cheaper I believe too.
