I HAVE A 97SHO, I WANT TO DROP A NEW ENGINE IN IT,HOW MUCH DOES A NEW ENGINE COST? I HEARD IT WAS AROUND 10K MY SHO DIDN'T COST ME 10K.

Anyway, while there may be a handful of crate motors out there in private hands, but they are no longer available from Ford.
Why are you looking for a new engine? Cam failure?

Check the SHO times classifieds - i spied one there in the last issue . Minus the accessories - $750 . Also try Kirk Doucette , he may have several , not new but entirely servicable (welded 
) engines .

Ok how about an engine swap.Is there another engine that i could put in my car bgsides a yamaha????

Sure, just put in a Vulcan or a Duratech. Which will probably make the car worth less than it would be with a bad SHO motor...
