So recently I've been having issues with my 2011 sho. car ran fine a few days ago, checked the oil and everything looked fine. Suddenly as soon as I turn on the car there was smoke coming from the dipstick tube.also my rear turbo is making a clunking sound. I noticed there was oil residue above the dipstick. So I checked the pipes connected to the turbos and they were drenched in oil. Opened up my air filter box and it was also drenched in oil. So if this turns out to be bad would it be better to buy a new engine or rebuild the one I already have?

I have never worked on my turbos - yet - however the feed line to the turbo is clogged, of the pcv valve has failed, do you have a catch can? Maybe the valves of a CC is clogged or installed incorrectly- everything you speak of becomes an indication of this problem.

So this is the smoke that's coming from the engine. it seems way too excessive amd thick..checked both pcv valves and they had a little bit of oil in them.

How about part number 4, it can get all filled with oil when failing. Did you pull the charge pipe from the throttle body to the IC, and check if the IC is filled with oil. No scope, then use your dip stick or plastic tubing, send to the bottom and see how much oil is buildup.

Come to think about it I did take the charge pipe off the throttle body, there was a good amount of oil on it and the pipe had oip underneath it too. i will check again how you described it when I'm off work on the weekend. Sorry for the late response.

So I found a little piece inside the pcv case and took pictures of where there's oil.

Can't say for sure, maybe others can elaborate. I never took mine apart, just moved it to get to the plug.

You don't say how many miles on the car. I think you have some work to do. Get the PCV system working properly, compression check, cylinder leak down check, check the intercooler for oil buildup, pull inlets to turbos and look for oil in the pipes (a light coating of oil is normal), pull cats and look for oil in the turbo exhaust. That's probably the order I would do it.

Is the fitting on the front valve cover straight thru or restricted to @8mm? There is a TSB for smoking after idling that replaces the straight thru fitting with a restricted fitting. It doesn't directly apply to your car but, probably wouldn't hurt anything.

By the looks of it @nitto13 you pcv valve is black in color. If I read TX reply seems like a newer one is required.
