Just stumbled on this thread.... All I can say is WOW!. What an effort you're making. I don't have the skills for that, but it looks great!

Seems to be the best way to hide the broken buttons :D

Any news on your progress?

I did it because I got bored at work. I haven't really worked on it any. I did glue some pieces of ABS plastic behind the part with the buttons in it to hold the PCB up against the buttons so they'd work 100$ I still have to fill the spot where the fan speed control switch was and make the trim ring prettier, but that's all in due time. Last week all my attention got devoted to my battery relocation, starting on my subwoofer box, and putting all the parts that have been taken out of my car for like 4 months back together. I'll get around to it sometime :)
