Okay, I'm back from school, and have some time for my car. Have had all kinds of problems...no power, bogs a little, etc. etc. Battery was dead forever, and now only one code comes up:

219 - SPOUT circuit failure, timing defaulted to 10 degrees

And I pulled the 3 front plug things, a little bit of oil in them. Is any oil bad enough to cause problems? Because, wouldn't it make sense for the oil to screw up plugs/wires, throw off the ignition system, cause the SPOUT error, thus make the timing bad enough to lose this much power? eh, eh? I'm pretty excited about having new things to check out, so any advice or things to check on (I still don't know what exactly to check about the SPOUT things) would be awesome.

You don't need to disconnect the battery to reset codes, all you have to do is remove the jumper when the codes are being displayed. And If you search spout you may find a pic of what the spout connector looks like. It may have been unplugged. Some people do this to make better emissions to do there test.

I'm pretty sure the codes are clear besides that...I had them all cleared last fall, still had problems. Then the battery was dead/disconnected for months. Was driven about a mile 3 weeks ago, sat some, driven today a few miles. Checked codes. Shouldn't that be accurate?

Ok, checked and I believe both spout connectors are properly there...cleared codes, didn't come up. Only thing that did come up was 225, which I think means I did the goose test wrong, but everything was clear. Here's some notes from today's drive:

Idled roughly at 500 RPM when first started, 1000 after being driven some.
Car seems less responsive/slower when full throttle
Little bucking, but more just resistance because of how slow it is
Engine gets hot pretty fast

Again, just generally powerless. Anyone think anything about the little bit of oil in my plug wells? Any other ideas??

Yes oil in the plug wells could be a issue. Its more that likely time for a 60K. Or at least plugs wires and valve cover gaskets.
