Help!

I'm attempting to to a EATC/Radio swap while at the same time upgrading my OEM unit to an aftermarket CD/MP3 unit.

I've got a 94 w. Premium JBL (2x amp & Sub) with the seperate CD player mounted below the Cassette deck.

There's an extra cable running from the Cassette deck into the CD deck, when unplugged - the radio goes dead (sans music).

I understand the main wiring harness fine, for the power/ground/etc... and can see the second harness that goes back to the amplifiers in the trunk... but I'm at a loss as to how to proceed.

Everything I've looked up on Crutchfield and Scosche doesn't seem to apply.

Thanks

I don't quite understand what you mean, but this may help.

There are two grounds at the bottom of the diagram, are they still hooked up when you disconnect the CD player from the radio???
