I have been hearing about a slightly bigger and better flowing drop in CAC but have not seen any actual info on this. Does anybody have any info about this?

No fab work should be required although I don't remember seeing anyone compete the install yet. It's a little involved due to placement of the factory FMIC. Up to 50hp, it's more dependent on keeping intake air temps down which depending on where you live, time of year etc. Should be a nice help especially in summer though.Awesome 50 hp from a CAC is hmmmm really alot. I found a direct drop in kind of deal, but it basically stock replacement slightly better flow & metal, no real improvement though only 168 bucks. A 50 hp improvement must be significantly bigger with lots of fab work to get to fit and unit i am sure very costly.....but yea some one is trying...
Normal GH auto octane tune with 2 adjustments to turbo operation for proper function.Matt, what tune was in that car when you got that increase from the CAC?
799 plus shippingI didnt see it on gh website but heard its around 850? 7 times cost of a stock one, but nearly 50 hp.....hmmm
And not plastic and actually works....I didnt see it on gh website but heard its around 850? 7 times cost of a stock one, but nearly 50 hp.....hmmm
Plan on IAT2 of 25 degrees above ambient temp at wot so yeah. Those results are when it was 90 degrees and worked well, would it work better, equal or less in colder air?
If I start saving now maybe in 3 years the price might drop.....just a hope and a thought....not too much chance of a used one for a long time....just saying
