Anyone know the approximate cost for a new bumper? Had a fender bender and need a new one. Is the dealer the only place where I can get one?

2010 black SHO with adaptive cruise.

depends on the damage for the bumper skin itself Here in canada $1400 CAD for platinum white expect the car gone for 2 days no more

but it should be under $1200 CAD for any other colours

also ask to have them colour match the LED housing cover they may do this for free but it looks awesome compared to the original ugly silver plastic (unless you have a silver car) I paid $75 for sanding labour but felt it was well worth it

Funkmaster Flex was the first to colour match the housing, I was the second and BPD was third...

Hey Unknown,
I though all OEM bumper skins were primed and you paint to match.

$1200 for a plastic bumper cover OMG!!!

The dealer quoted me $700 and I thought that was high. I supposed it's pretty unlikely that I'll find a 2010+ Taurus at the junkyard, and more unlikely a black one, and even more unlikely that it would have a bumper cover in good shape.

Sweet, thanks for the heads up. Much appreciated.
After looking at the website the bumper part I need is 17D957 and it's $287.62. Much better that $700. I'm sure I can figure out how to put it on.
