I have 2010 Taurus SHO. A couple of weeks ago the air bag warning light came. I then noticed the memory buttons for the driver side seat do not work. Last night i went to put the heat on the drivers seat and it shut right back off. Passenger seat heat works fine. About six months ago I had the drivers seat recovered. When I got the car back the lumbar did not work. Took it back in and they said thy forgot to plug the lumbar back in.
Think this is related?

Thanks for any help.

The air bag light can, and does, come on if the seats are removed, and harnesses unplugged.

Doesn't happen 100% of the time, but with some degree of regularity.

I do not however, know the procedures to reset them.

If the battery is fine, and since all your symptoms seem to point to the wiring harness from the driver's seat, perhaps loose or damaged. Maybe even a faulty ground.

If you have a code scanner that does SRS, you could pull the airbag code and see if it is pointing to the drivers seat. The Innova 3150 and 3160 both have this capability.
