Coming home from a car show on Saturday, my car started stumbling about a mile from home. I check the codes, and got one for both the cam sensor, and DPFE. Changed those Sunday morning, no more codes. The car is still stumbling. I opened the hood Sunday night, and see that there is some arcing from 2 of the plug wires to the head and intake. Plug wires are in the mail. This morning I move it from the street to the driveway (street sweeping day), and smell gas pretty strongly. I open the hood while running, and while I do see the little arcing, just for giggles, I unplug the MAF. CEL comes on, but there is no change in running condition. If the MAF is unplugged, shouldn't the idle change? Also when revved, there is a random "POP" that sounds like it's coming out of the intake.

Anyway, thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.

If as you say you have arcing around the plug wires, I would put on new wires. Untill you get the arcing fixed, I don't think that the idle will change much with the MAF unpluged.

It is a wire. I swapped out the MAF with a known good one, and it did the same. I looked around online and they said if you could hear the RPM through the radio, it's your wires. Went around the block, and sure enough!
