Ortiz tuned. Had an airaid but switched back to stock with k&n drop in recently. Somehow the aftermarket intake hose popped off a few days ago and I put it back. Bov’s are vta (stock). The problem is that now, when I’m half wot and into boost, the bov’s start spitting air at 3k rpm’s. I can mash the gas more and push past that but I don’t know what the issue is yet.

Shoot us a datalog and we'll check it out. Can be multiple reasons, also would recommend posting pics of the engine bay so we can look to see if anything looks off.

I found the problem….looks like a small vac hose on the charge pipe popped off. Problem averted. Thanks to all though.

Look on the charge pipe crossing over the engine, there is a ****** and 3/16" hose coming off the charge pipe pointing toward the passenger wheel well. I guess Ford never anticipated us raising boost because they left the boost reference line unclamped, and with elevated boost it blows off. Most use a zip tip and yank down on it to get it to stay on without sticking out too much.

Without this attached the car will think you've got no boost and will send ALL the boost. Typical to see 20+ psi while also having very low WGDC.

Thanks! That was my issue!! Put it back on with zip tie and no more problems! Now on to adding more fun parts!
