Hi guys im the one that had the front end crash a couple of months ago and just now found the problem, the mech. said it jumped time when being hit on inpacked..

what is needed for this job? Is it easily done or a pain?

Do you mean the cams are out of time with the crank?? Or is the spark timing off? Checking the cam/crank timing is easy, remove the top and bottom timing belt covers. There is a cast pointer at about the 5:00 O clock position next to the crank timing belt gear. The dot on the crank needs to line up with that. When those are lined up, the dots on both cam sprockets should be pointing up at notches/lines on the cover behind the sprockets.

Timing belt replacement is a pain but nothing to serious. Just a lot of time (no pun intended). Do a search here on the forum and you will have all the information you need.
