Need Rotor Suggestions

Newbi here, I did some searching but did really find an answer.

I bought some Carbotech F pads and now I'm looking for some Rotors.

TireRack sells the Power Slot Rotor and Brembo Replacement Rotor.

I'm installing PowerSlots on my Yukon to try because my wife has gone though several sets.

I love the Baers on my Vette but they don't make them for the SHO.

Whats a good rotor that won't warp to quickly.

in all seriousness, ive always used autozone rotors on my cars (including my SHO now) and im very very please, i have not had any real problem with warping and theyre only $20 a pop with lifetime warantee. if you really want slots that bad just slot your brakepads down the center, mine came like that and i stop pretty damn quick.

The closest AutoZone is about an hour away. I tried the PepBoy rotors with no luck.

Try Napa online or even autozone online.
They do make the baers for the SHO,you just have to upgrade your whole system.

the fstreet is a good pad i have them on the rear. and i have autozone rotors up front. i did have factory ford 11.6" up front with the carbotech panther pads, but the rotors got scored BAD in about 5k miles (2 groves), i might have gotten over excited while bedding them in?!?! but now i have autozone rotors with umm cant remember the pads, what ever tire rack sells. the panthers stoped NOW but the could not keep quiet and dusted when i thought about braking. not a very good combo for a street pad. ok back to the rotors...on the back of the factory ford rotors they had the cool ford stamp on it, but the ones from autozone had the same oval(but with out ford in it) and made in, ummm indonesia or whereever can not remember now, but it was the same. my personal belief is ford buys them from some where else and just puts there stamp on it. but im sure others will tell you their opinion also. i think you will find either a suitable replacement. hope this helps

I know Baer make a complete kit, but they don't have just updated rotors like the EradiSpeed or DBA's.

94 & 95, it's a bolt on. you just need to do a spindle change.

A car sitting at our garage right now has Baer's on it. There is an adapter plate that allows the caliper to sit in the proper position.

Don't screw around with expensive rotors on a stock brake system. Cheap Chinese rotors properly burned in will keep trueness & last a long time. if you insist on repeated hard stops from 120mph you will have brake problems, it don't matter what rotor you have. if you spend $20 dollars for a chinese rotor then you can afford to replace them when the checking gets severe. as for a $200 dollar rotor you will have the same problems. If you have a $4000 dollar aftermarket brake set-up then you might want to invest in a rotor. If you want the brakes to last don't use them.

You could save brakes by just engine braking everywhere- to stop just turn the key off..

And then save for some clutch/ tranny money...
