I dont have that info off the top of my head. Is your SHO near you. Mine is 30 miles away right now.Yes removing stock mufflers for something that sounds better i also want to do everything you guys did with your cars the tune and all that. Its just im a kid with decent money and this is my first time modding a car. so far all i have did is cosmetic stuff. is the factory style 2.5 center outlet to 2.5 offset inlet?
Think VERY carefully about this. It will limit who is willing to tune your car. For a street car, there are much better things you could do and keep your tuner options open. Keep an eye out for a used set of catted pipes if the cost is the issue.my Hope list
Gearhead power pack
catless downpipes - illegal as well i think but makes good gains i seen
cold air intake
better louder muffler because straight pipe is illegal in my state
probably some coil overs and wheels because i am non pp
I agree. A good pair of catted DP's will perform just as well as a un-catted set up.Think VERY carefully about this. It will limit who is willing to tune your car. It is. By law you aren't suppose to modify any smog equipment on a vehicle. But what fun is that?Even though it seems to be a popular choice, and shouldn't be illegal, isn't it "technically" illegal to remove the 3rd cat as well?
