Need Help with my SHO

I have a 92 SHO (manual) that is pretty much stock and I have a few bugs that im hoping you all can help me out with.
First off my cruse isnt working at all and im having trouble finding how to fix it.
Secondly I dont know how to take the back panel (that goes ontop of the back speakers) off.
And lastly If you could give some good tips, link, upgrades or anything else that would be good for me to work on or know(its summer so im out of school now) that would be great.

The cruise could be due to a bad VSS but that is kinda a shot in the dark. There are a few other causes. Did you check the fuses? The MTX cars are vacum operated so I would check the hoses and make sure it is connected to the throttle body.
