Man, seems like this has been becoming a common issue lately, lol. It's probably the 3rd thread I've seen on this on various forums within the last month or so. Mine went out, I got all the parts I need but haven't done the work yet.

As to where it is, not sure if this helps, but in the XSport, it's behind the IPC. A pain to get to and the dealership charges a zillion dollars to do the work. Seems a lot of the dash needs to come out. However, I found this video to be very helpful in making it easier:

Again, I know alot is shared between the XSport and SHO, so it may help you, but I cant give a definitive answer on the SHO.

You tried helping me before I was the one that started the previous thread. But no matter how many of these actuators I replace I can’t seam to fix the problem I about to pull my hair out with this car. Lol one thing after another. I am thinking it might be a bad climate control module or computer but don’t know how to replace it. But I honestly can’t figure out any other cause.
