Need help right away - identify hose

I located a hose with one end that isn't connected to anything. I found the disconnected end sticking out at the bottom of the drivers side splash guard. I pulled off the splash guard off and tried to follow the hose and I can't see where the end goes to. The hose is no more than 1 or 2 feet long. I have a vacuum hose diagram under my hood and this hose is not on it. Please help as I need to get my car back together tomorrow. Thanks!

It sounds like you found the drain for the ABS pump bracket. It's supposed to hang down like that.

Yes I do. And it functions correctly.

The hose in the picture is the correct one. I spent almost an hour trying to find where it goes to. Thanks!
