ALright if neone can help me here or think of nething that it can be it would be awesome- and sdpatt im sure u probably might know this so ur info is much needed...

ALright everytime i drive my SHO for about 20 min or more..I can usually go out and look at my front headlight(passenger side) and there will be a stream of smoke billowing out and it will stop after about 3 min and i tried to smell it and it sorta smells like either coolant or oil and coolant mixed or just plain oil...im not sure- but its only on the pass side and only after 20 min...im curious will a leaking water pump leak so much fluid on to where the cats r or is that no option...also could it be a rear main seal to cause this to smoke this bad...i havent looked under the car yet possibly this thursday i will...but i can liek never get it to smoke only like when i come home at night i can really see it smoking- aslo when i brought it into my dads shop some dude goes dang man i can smell that coolant burning- so if he has a good smell than he could be correct...but i do rememeber this one time i filled my radiator up and after a few days i saw it leaking real bad- now it has stopped leaking but maybe its still leaking out from a hose or something onto something thats hot by the passenger side which causes it to smoke....hummm...well if u all have ne thoughts just let me know- thanx

I know its hard without being here but if ne of u have a similair problem it might help me....

Coolant has a sweet smell to it were as oil just plain stinks. The reason you only see it a night is it more than likely is antifreeze and it doesn't really burn as much reach its boiling point and evaporates (ie your seeing something closer to steam). If you filled you radiator uyp and noticed a leak than your coolant level has probably leaked down to that level. The water pump can leak out the weep hole enough to leak on the cat as well so can the front main seal. Check all your rad hoses from the water pump, your overflow tank your cap and refill your rad if needed the rad tend to leak were the plastic end caps crimp to the aluminum core. Which is hard to find by the time it runs down everthing that hides it.

If its an oil leak it is most likely your front main seal (right above the cat) or the cam seal behind the cam sensor. I have both of them leaking right now and I am still in amazement that the car didn't catch fire on the way to the shop to get them replaced.
