The ticking noise has gotten worse at idle and in any rpm range. It comes from the coil side of the valve covers. I checked out SHOPhoenix for the 60k guide and it shows a chain tensioner block.

Where can I find one?

Also, where can find the valve bucket shims locally for the 60K?

I would just rent a shim kit from one of the sho vendors. Locally you may be able to find 29mm yamaha shims at a yamaha dealer, but since you dont know what shims you will need til you get in there it could be a pain. Also, my dealer would only swap shims (for free though), or I could buy them new for $20 a piece. You also need the special tools to change the shims.
