ALright i got a buddy with a 95 SHO....he has been having problems with leakin tranny fluid...he brought it in the other day to a tranny specialist...they looked at it and figured out it was the seal which were bad...after doing all the seals on the tranny they got it back together and now to there surprize it still leaks- now they have found that the tranny case is cracked causing it to leak still...now my question is- this is where my SHO buddies come in and help me out telling what would be best...

first....find a new casing and have them swap internal parts and use the new casing...

second...find a new tranny and put a new one in

third...find a rebuilt tranny and put it in....

fourth find a decent tranny from you guys and have them put it in....

any help would be cool in which way would be most cost effective and smart thing to do- since trannys are very common to go out...and that they require alot of money to put one in...thanx guys

The whole Tranny case is cracked?! What did he hit?!

Anyways, it all comes down to money. If he is going to keep the car and keep his investment, I'd go with a Ford rebuilt trans with all the upgrades and a shiftkit. A shift kit is a great thing to have in an auto. It feels like a totally different car with it in! eek!
